Help for bereaved parents

Both locally to the Daniel Estick Trust in Milton Keynes and Nationally there is help and support for parents and others affected by the death of a child.

MKBPG – Milton Keynes Bereaved Parents Group

The MK Bereaved Parents Group has been established by parents for parents brought together by the loss of a child, whatever the age of the child

It is a very informal gathering with very little structure, people talk, listen, cry and even laugh together. The overall aim is to help each other deal with the situation we all thought we would never have to face.

Meetings are held every 3rd Thursday of the month from 7.30pm at a fantastic, relaxed meeting room at Age UK, The Peartree Centre, 1 Chadds Lane, Peartree Bridge, MK6 3EB

For more information about the group visit the MK Bereaved Parents Group website or send them an email.

Meet Emily - Currently training hard out on the bike as she's unable to run due to injury she's determined to complete her 1st ever Half marathon in London with the team. We wish her a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing her at the start line injury free🤞 on the 12th April. Meet Claire who came out and ran 10K this weekend for the trust at the MK Festival of running and plans to double the distance next month for the London Landmarks Half. Claire has completed the full London Marathon distance previously so we reckon she's got this one in the bag 💪. Close friends with Emily (who is also running.. her story later in the week) means they get to celebrate together with a few drinks after crossing the finish line.. If you can support Claire with a few pennies please take a look at her page donate.giveasyoulive.com/fundraising/team-daniel-estick-llhm-2026 ... See MoreSee Less
